As Atlassian no longer supports the server, many customers are making the move to cloud. To prevent double payments during the migration phase, Atlassian has introduced Dual Licensing.
Dual Licensing eliminates duplicate costs during migration, allowing customers to pay only for cloud licenses without renewing on-premises licenses. After purchasing cloud licenses, Atlassian provides a 100% discount on renewal of on-premises licenses for up to 12 months, enabling free use for one year. Affected products include Jira Core, Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, or their cloud equivalents.

Upon creating a cloud site, you will receive a 30-day trial with certain limitations. The number of users who can access the trial version varies depending on the product selected. To renew your Atlassian license, navigate to Site Admin -> Billing -> Billing details, provide the required information, and proceed with the payment process.
